At Re/Gent, we provide high-quality, standards-based and custom testing for key refrigeration components. Our laboratory delivers reliable, repeatable, and traceable results that support product development, certification, and performance optimization. Our test environment covers a wide range of refrigerants, including natural refrigerants such as R290 and R600a. 

We test refrigeration and heat pump compressors according to ISO 13771-1, measuring: 

  • Cooling capacity and electrical power input 
  • Coefficient of performance (COP) 
  • Mass flow rate and volumetric characteristics 

      all at standard and extended operating points 

      We test condensing units in accordance with ISO 13771-2, determining: 

      • Cooling capacity 
      • Electrical consumption 
      • Efficiency and COP 

          All at defined operating conditions 

          We test heat evaporators & condensers. Beyond formal standards, we also test evaporators, condensers, and other heat exchangers using a variety of well established test methods tailored to customer needs. Depending on the component type we can determine: 

          • Heat transfer capacity 
          • Pressure drop 
          • Heat transfer coefficients 
          • Fluid distribution 

                For different refrigerants, loads, and airflow/water-flow conditions
