ColApp software

Re/Gent has developed a powerful measurement-evaluation software package called ColApp, which is used successfully by refrigerator testing laboratories and manufacturers worldwide. The software supports evaluation of domestic, professional, and commercial refrigerators and freezers.

ColApp is fully compliant with IEC 62552-1-2-3:2015 and its amendments, as well as regional standards derived from it, such as the European EN 62552-1-2-3:2020 standard. Because the IEC 62552 standard is complex and practically impossible to apply reliably without specialized tools, ColApp provides solutions that simplify every stage of the testing and evaluation process.

These solutions include:

• Automatic interpretation and execution of all  test requirements, eliminating the need to manually understand complex procedures.
• Built-in algorithms for all stabilization criteria, which are too complicated to evaluate manually.
• Automated calculation of energy labels and efficiency classes for countries that use IEC or ISO based energy efficiency regulations. This means users do not need to read or interpret difficult regulatory texts, many of which are published in foreign languages.
• Clear visualization of measurement results through an intuitive graphical interface, offering a transparent overview of performance and energy efficiency.
• Continuous updates, ensuring the software remains aligned with new regions and evolving global energy-efficiency regulations.
